At SellAnyCar.com I built conversational AI agents on ElevenLabs and automated them to run marketing and outreach calls to customers. They run on the telephony infrastructure and carry real conversations, not just play a recorded message.
Each campaign gets its own agent design. The prompt and the conversation flow are tailored per scenario, because the same script that works for a follow-up call fails for a first contact. That per-scenario design work is where the quality is won or lost.
I also built the monitoring that makes this safe to scale. A bad call should become a fix, not a lost customer, so I watch the underperformers and rework them until they hold up close to a human making the same calls. That is what convinced the business to scale the agents up.
